Before You Apply:

• Ensure your PAN details are updated in the income tax records. You can update them for free!
• Identify your PAN issuing agency. It’s either Protean (formerly NSDL e-governance) or UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Ltd (UTIITSL). This information is printed on the back of your existing PAN card.

Applying for Reprint with Protean (NSDL):

1. Visit the Protean website: https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html¹
2. Enter your PAN, Aadhaar number (if applicable), and date of birth.
3. Verify your partially masked details and choose how you want to receive the OTP (mobile, email, or both).
4. Select the checkbox for dispatching the PAN card to your registered address.
5. Generate and enter the OTP received within 10 minutes.
6. Choose your payment method and pay Rs 50.
7. Save the acknowledgement receipt for downloading the e-PAN later.

Applying for Reprint with UTIITSL:

1. Visit the UTIITSL website: https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN_ONLINE/homeaddresschange
2. Select “Reprint PAN Card.”
3. Enter your PAN, date of birth, and captcha code.
4. The steps are similar to those on the Protean website. Follow the on-screen instructions for payment and confirmation.

What to Expect After Applying:

• Your reprinted PAN card with a QR code will be delivered to your registered address within 15-20 working days.
• You can download the e-PAN from the NSDL website after 24 hours using your acknowledgement receipt.
